She works as a psychotherapist at the Calcutta Pavlov Mental Hospital, treating patients with mental disorders. She works with children, young people, adults, and geriatrics. She treats both individuals and groups as a therapist. Her profession involves working with dysfunctional families, and she holds the view that a family is one of the most significant facets of our existence and well-being. She also thinks that her present concentration is on issues related to addiction, everyday stress, and preventing suicide. She believes that rehabilitation is crucial for assisting individuals in reintegrating into society. She is also working to raise knowledge of mental health and well-being in society, which is an essential component of mental health awareness.

Registering body : The West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Educational Qualification : M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work from the Institute of Psychiatry, Centre of Excellence, Kolkata (SSKM) under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Working area: Works with common and severe mental disorders (depression and other mood disorders, OCD, DCD, anxiety, stress-related disorders, addiction, schizophrenia, dementia, IDD, and others) through intervention with appropriate therapies such as CBT, BT, PMT, DBT, ERP, MET, and others.
