He works as a clinical psychologist for the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) in the Murshidabad district and is affiliated with the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP) under NHM.
Meet with clients in a clinical setting to determine the emotional, mental, and behavioural issues they are facing. Determine any behavioural, emotional, or psychological problems. Recognise emotional, behavioural, or psychological problems. Create and carry out therapy protocols and treatment strategies.
He also assumes the part of a counsellor for STIs (sexually transmitted infections). He provides pre- and post-test advice for syphilis and HIV. He also looks after the mental health of his syphilis and HIV-positive patients, encouraging them to continue receiving treatment and to continue taking their medications.
