She is currently working as a psychiatric social worker in the Department of Psychiatry at Base Hospital, Barrackpore 2020. She is actively involved in the planning and execution of individual psychotherapy, family and couple therapy, and group therapy for a large number of patients and outpatients reported in the psychiatric department.  Her novel and personalised approach in each case, specifically 'Addiction'-related cases, produces remarkable positive outcomes. She has also actively participated in conducting and publishing research studies in the hospital.

Registering body : The West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Educational Qualification : M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work from the Institute of Psychiatry, Centre of Excellence (SSKM [PG] Hospital) under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
At present, she is a PhD scholar at the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Working area: Primary and secondary psychological conditions: depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, substance abuse, etc. Children and their parents who are having behavioural issues. Stabilise and support people experiencing intense psychological distress or behavioural issues. Any person, family, or couple who is in need of family or couple therapy. Psychosocial assessment to determine the client's mental health status and need, providing psychotherapy and other clinical services to help clients assess their emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges.
